Estee Lauder Over There Like, Ok, Time To Recoup That 1.45 Billion From Jerrod

Ok, Estee Lauder right to jail. Immediately. You’re pricing on Too Faced drops are illegal. We know you gotta get back some of that mega money you paid Jerrod but please, the people can’t be paying near $30 for lip balm! Stop it right now.

As you may know the new Too Faced Kissing Juicy Tint dropped for Summer 2025 in 7 shade selections. This new formula promises juicy shine, color, and hydration in a jelly lip oil formula. Ok, I’m game. I love a shiny lip product and this sound perfect for just that. However, Too Faced did just launch Too Faced Lip Injection Extreme Plumping Clicks (which were also grossly expensive) recently and I’m not quite sure we really need another shiny lip product this SOON. Some small bitchy part of me is like, wait, is this the same formula but different packaging? Ya know my brain went there immediately!

The bad news is these are priced pretty crazily at $26 bucks. I dunno if I’ll ever get over my sticker shock lately on some of the latest makeup launches! And sadly, with tariffs coming in strong, we’re in for a hell of a wild ride with prices going even higher. I think of Too Faced as more of a mid-range brand. It isn’t drugstore and it isn’t luxury but it sure as hell shouldn’t be pricing lipsticks, balms, or glosses at nearly $30. It isn’t so long since products like Too Faced Peach Kiss Moisture Matte Long Wear Lipstick and La Creme Lipstick which were all under $25 ($21 and $22 to be exact). And those had incredibly beautiful, heavier packaging compared to the cheaper plastic that Estee Lauder has been using lately.

I realize I’m getting older and what I liked five or ten years isn’t going to be the same as right now. That being said, I do think I’m within the Too Faced demographic or at least I was until recently releases. They’ve just started to feel like they are trying to target tweens or teens at around 14 to 16 years old. I guess, you gotta get your money where you gotta get your money but imagine just completely disregarding your current fanbase for an entirely new one? It’s so odd to me.

So, no, obviously Too Faced Kissing Juicy Tints prob won’t be in my bag! On the upside, HSN is legendary for doing a lot of sales or sets on Too Faced’s latest launches so there is a good chance we’ll be able to snag these Too Faced Kissing Juicy Tint at a two for one price at some point the way the Too Faced Quickie Queen Eye Shadow Stick Set which is $27 for two full-size shadows and free shipping!

What do you think of these? Worth the $26 bucks?

Makeup and Beauty Blog Monday Poll, Vol. 876
Words of wisdom from author A.A. Milne (he wrote “Winnie the Pooh”)

So…what is the Monday Poll?

Excellent question! It isn’t, contrary to its name, an actual poll, like with little clicky buttons. It’s just a list of more or less random questions I’ve been posting on this blog every Monday morning for the past quadrillion years (since 2007).

1. What sports would you have liked to have played as a kid?

I would’ve loved to have taken dance classes. I think I would’ve enjoyed soccer, too.

2. Would you rather listen to the radio or replay a favorite album?

Replay a favorite album. Speaking of that, my family will probably freak out if I play the greatest hits from Fleetwood Mac one more time.

3. Have you ever had a job where you had to be on your feet all day?

Yup. I’ve done retail and worked in the back of the house in a bakery. Gotta have supportive shoes!

4. Do you have any travel plans for the summer?

Right now we’ve got one camping trip to the Russian River planned, and that’s it. I think eventually we’ll add on a last-minute trip to Tahoe but as of now we’re sticking close to home, which is fine with me.

5. What scent are you wearing today?

I’m wearing the new one from Chanel, Chance Eau de Splendide. It’s lovely! I mostly like the rose and iris notes.

It’s Monday Time To Fixate On Beauty and a Hodgepodge Of Random Stuff

Wakey, wakey my friends! The weekend is over but the weather is weathering. We had high 70s last week here in New York and more to come this week! I hope you had the same! What’s your latest obsessions? Anything in the beauty world that you’re fixated on? Or anything outside the beauty community? Share with me? Here’s my current hyper fixations!

Let’s start with Save Worapong Walor in pastels. Remember several years ago when Spring always brought a round of pastels to the makeup world? Shu Uemura was an icon for always releasing a round of pastel eyeshadows without fail every single Spring. Bobbi Brown dabbled in it too! I remember wearing a light aquatic blue from a Shimmerbrick Eyeshadow Palette she dropped for Spring a few years ago. I was delusional about looking good in them.

Speaking of pastels….I’m obsessed with Save’s pastel fits. Bro slays in those pastels. The pink hoodies, the light purple shirts, I think there was a light yellow in there too recently. He’s in his coquette era and I’m here for it. Love Shack Fancy needs to tap him for a Spring Collection. You can see him in the upcoming drama Mr. Fanboy. I’m glad he’s getting his own drama as he was in Your Sky and stole every single scene he was in. And P.S. I really need a light pink hoodie now! Image Credit: auausave4 on Instagram.

Like, thank you Dior for actually doing a seasonal collection this year. We the people miss seasonal collections and thankfully, luxury brands are still sort of doing them. I was a little reserved about this collection but the Dior Coral Glow Forever Glow Luminizer is dreamy! Sadly, it sold out! I wonder when this collection is going to drop at department stores like Nordstrom. That being I’m obssessed with the Pink Strobe Forever Glow Luminizer. OBSESSED! It’s not coral by any means but it’s a stunning luminous pink that’s perfect for Summer looks. It’s also, on sale this week at macys.com! It looks gorgeous alone or over your favorite blush!

Are we even friends if you didn’t snag at least one bottle of Quai St. Barts Detangling and Frizz Fighting Leave in Conditioner? Dude, dude, dude…! Tell me you didn’t miss out! I really want to buy more but I’m sort of hoping that QUAI does a sale for Mother’s Day! It’s so good! It makes my hair smell like the tropics! It’s delightful! A must get for Summer!

As an avid Converse wearer I’m always looking for the perfect no see sock to wear. I think I’ve finally found the holy grail of no see sockies! It’s these Ultra Thin Liner Socks available on Amazon. They are SUPER duper thin and a mesh design so they slip on easy, don’t slip off, and they aren’t cumbersome to wear with your fav chucks or even regular sneakers.

This one is diabolical because of the sodium but Trader Joe’s Tom Yum Seasoned Snack Mix is stupid good. I can’t buy it anymore because I’ll finish a bag in one sitting. It’s a bit spicy, a touch sour, salty, and even a little lemony and sweet. It’s addicting. But jeez, the sodium content is absurd. If you’re at TJ this week check it out. And if you’re scared to give a try you can always ask them to open a bag for you to sample! Yes, they’ll literally open the bag so you can test it.

Noodles with butter. Apparently, I’m a five year old kid with my food fixations lately because noodles with butter are now my thing. I ate them three times in a row this week and I have no regrets. Like why are these so good? But I will say they have to be egg noodles or pastina. I did almost burn the house down making pastina. No one makes it better than my little Italian mama. Egg noddles are easy but pastina is apparently level 10 experienced cooker level. Since my boyfriend had to leave for CA again I really don’t have to put a lot of effort into dinner plans or making dinner so eggs and noodles are the soup du jour.

Sit down, kick back, tell me your fixations of the moment. I’m here for it, friends.

Things are a little different now under Rosie’s feline leadership — less kitty modeling, fewer lavish parties, and we don’t fly business class anymore. Lot more science, though. 😂 So, on the one paw, we’re on the cusp of developing a new fusion-powered AI robot that can dispense crunchies, but on the other paw, daily life can be a little…boring. But that’s OK! We like boring now.

Here’s a quick look back at a typical spring day when Tabs was in charge. He made everything seem exciting, even just going for our morning walk.

Tabs was hongry today on our walk. Not just hungry, but hongry. He was ravenous! He didn’t even care about the giant turkeys gobbling on the hill or the little kids shouting at the neighborhood playground. He was too busy hunting for the freshest, tastiest shoots of grass, which were hard to find today because the condo landscapers mowed the hill this week.

Tabby loves Novato so much, and we’re coming up on the best time of year for kitty exploring. The days are nice and long now, which means that he can go for more walks.

The only problem is that everyone else has the same idea, so there are also more trespassers and violators of the Tabs the Cat Industries LLC property perimeter.

Consequently, sometimes Tabs has to flex his kitty muscles to show ’em who’s boss, and he’s always ready to throw down, because you never know when some other cat will attempt a hostile takeover. As I’m sure you know, the kitty modeling business is cutthroat.

The constant threat posed by temperamental turkeys, pushy people, cantankerous kitties and drool-covered dogs keeps Tabs on constant high alert. Sometimes he even jumps at his own shadow…

But that’s the kind of diligence it takes to protect a world-class kitty modeling empire. 🙂

Good morning beautiful people! I hope your day is starting off well. I started mine craving two crispy Mcdonald’s Hash Browns with a Mcflurry stuffed between them but ya know, the ice cream machine is probably broken. In all seriousness, the Hash Brown McFlurry Sandwich is making the rounds on the Internet again and as a girl who dips her fries in her Frosty or shake I feel I need to try it. You know, for science. But I’ll be honest with you, Mcdonald’s Hash Browns in New York are NOT it. They’re always soaked in grease and a bit on the soggy side. I guess that’s a relief because I’m pretty sure eating this not a good idea. That BEING SAID though…ahem….Trader Joe’s Hash Browns in the air fryer are a new level of elite so, really, there isn’t anything stopping you from making this at home now is there? Yeah, I went there. Pats on the back for me.

Speaking of ice cream….if you’re a caramel lover you might have heard Paris Corner dropped a Molten Caramel Perfume. It’s be described as a warm, gooey caramel that you top your ice cream with. I blind brought it and if I regret it I’m coming for the fragheads on Tiktok. No one will be safe from my rage if this sucks because I believed the hype Taskeen Caramel Cascade hype and that stuff smelled like a dollar store candle. I am still not ok with the hype surrounding it and STFU with your, “Let it macerate it gets better!” Stop lying to me Tiktok.

I Need A Hash Brown McFlurry Sandwich But the Ice Cream Machine is Probably Broken But This Perfume Will Do the Trick

I’ve been waiting for my order to arrive and I only spent $34 bucks on it so I can’t b*tch too much if it doesn’t work out. But it sounds like it may be a banger. It has notes of white chocolate, caramel, milk, brown sugar, vanilla, and praline. Apparently it’s creamy, cozy, and comforting. This isn’t really a scent for the seasons ahead of us but I’m sure it’ll be a masterpiece for Fall and Winter if it smells as good as everyone is saying.

I’ll keep you posted and review it soon!

Paris Corner Molten Caramel Perfume is available now at amazon.com!

If Your Life Isn’t Eventful Enough Already Here’s a KFC Fried Chicken Flavored Toothpaste To Make It Even More Complicated

Listen, there’s a lot of sh&t happening right now and life is pretty complicated. What we don’t need is to complicate things even further so I do not appreciate KFC releasing a Fried Chicken Flavored Toothpaste. Stop this right now. Those 11 herbs and spices need to stay in the chicken and not make an appearance in my damn toothpaste! Nothing is sacred anymore. Sheesh.

Yes, it’s still April and no this isn’t a joke. KFC Fried Chicken Flavored Toothpaste is a limited-edition launch inspired by KFC’s chicken and offers a unique experience while brushing your tooth. Lucky you, it’s sold out but if you’re wanting a toothpaste that tastes like a hot, crispy piece of chicken maybe they’ll restock it. HiSmile recently dropped the LE flavor for $13 and they even have a matching red toothbrush to go along with it if you’re feeling like an extra big fan of KFC.

I mean, the good news is this is a calorie-free formula. The bad news is your breath might smell like chicken all day. I guess there are worst things to worry about….!

KFC Fried Chicken Flavored Toothpaste may be sold out but HiSmile has a number of weird and crazy flavors from Tiramisu to Watermelon.

Enjoy the crazy! I know I am.

Hey You Guys Remember That One Time at Band Camp When We All Looked at Foot Peels Together

This week as a form of self-care and pampering I did a Baby Foot Mask, a face mask, and went on Reddit to act like a smart ass with the rest of my crazies over there (I LIVE for you people! LIVE!). The self care part was the foot and face mask the smart ass-ery was like a reward for having to sit still for an hour with a foot mask on. Last time I used these I tried walking around the house doing things and ended up slipping on the wood floor and nearly busting a hip. Pretty sure I’m of an age now where busting a hip is possible. Naa, I’m not that old now yet but I added that in for the plot.

Back in 2009, before I was old enough to bust a hip, I did this awesome post about foot peels before they were even popular here in the US. There was this great website for Beauty Foot. As I recall, it was a Japanese foot mask I think and the results were pretty damn awesome. I mean, the peeling action was amazing.

Let’s have an instant reply of those results:

Beauty Foot Treatment 3

Beauty Foot Treatment 2

Beauty Foot Treatment 1

I have to say, in all my years using these masks never in my life have I had results like this. I have pretty dry skin but honestly, this level of Olive Garden Cheese Grater peeling is fascinating. If you by some chance like staring at your Biore Nose Strip after using it well, you’re my people, and you’re loving seeing these amazing foot peels. These people lost the entire bottom portion of their foot with these epic peels like HOW!? I get some peeling but not the epic level of peeling like these pics. I sort of wish I did because I’m a picker and a peeler. My worst habit is peeling my cuticles and the games afoot if I cut or scratch myself as I’ll pick the scab. I apologize for my failing in life with this bad habit but I’m working on it! If you’ve been curious about trying a foot mask out now is a good time for it as sandal season is here.

But on with the good stuff…! Torriden DIVE IN Modeling Pack! Love this! I’m an avid sheet mask girlie and use them quite a few times a week. This particular one came across my feed on Tiktok as a rec and lately, I’m pretty served about buying anything recommended by Tiktokers but this was a Tiktoker I trusted and she was spot on with this. This is a powder mask which mix with water. Amazon only has the “refill” mask pack which means it doesn’t come with the mixing powder or spatula but it’s not a big deal as you can use your own skincare or moisturizer spatula and a glass bowl or paper bowl if you have one the mix this. It’s a thicker creamy when applies but sets to jelly-like texture that feels refreshingly cooling. It leaves skin soft, smooth, and hydrated. I go a little wild and after removing this I’ll follow up with a sheet mask as well for extra moisture.

If you need a few items to add to your self care kit these two are worth a haul! What beauty picks do you use to pamper yourself?

Wakey, wakey friends. It’s Tuesday, the sun is shining in New York City, and it’s going to be 78 degrees today. I hope you’re finding joy in the little things and you’re not busy being anxious or worried about the chaos of the world. Remember to find your calm. I promise everything is going to be ok.

Writing about beauty has proven difficult for me lately. It just feels a little tone deaf to discuss sales, makeup releases, etc…when things feel a lot off in life for everyone. But I sort of hope you come here to escape all that and that maybe you appreciate hearing about a sale, a new makeup drop, reading a review about the latest lipstick, or just hanging out here and indulging me in my fangirl stupidity lately.

Speaking of fangirlisms there’s a post on Tiktok of Thai Actor, Nouel. Wait, maybe he posted it. Whatever, one of the those two things! When that boy pops up my mind goes blank. But he was wearing this FIRE red eyeliner (or maybe it was smudged up shadow) and it made me think back to Majolica Majorca Perfect Automatic Liner. Picture it. 2014 I could actually wear reds and cranberries without looking like someone punched me in the eye. The shade was RD303 it was a metallic cranberry and it launched in Japan with the Majolica Majorca Spring 2014 Collection. I’m sad to say I’m having a senior moment because I can’t remember what else was in that collection but I do remember that eyeliner and kids, I still have it stashed away somewhere. Not that I’d use it but hey, I still have it like the true hoarder I am.

I Deserve Scooby Snacks For This Makeup Collection Info

Fast forward to TODAY and the Victoria Beckham Beauty The Bordeaux Collection dropped. I can’t lie. I’d appreciate this the most if it was released for Fall 2025 but am I buying it? Hells yes. Well, technically I just really want the eyeliner and mascara but I’ll be really good and grab the eyeliner only know. I can prob wait on the mascara and palette. I’m still in my Lady Vengeance era over here. The Satin Kajal Linerin Bordeaux isn’t actually new but it was brought to my attention because of this collection. I actually have to look as I may have it already! It’s rather sad when your eyeliner collection is so big you forget the shades you have eep! This one is a a rich matte burgundy! If you want Nouel’s smudged out look starting with this liner should do the trick! Not to mention Victoria’s eyeliners are so smooth, so creamy, so easy to apply, and smudge out. I do also, want the Bordeaux Future Lash Mascara as well. It’s a $34 splurge which isn’t crazy but I always feel a little guilty spending so much on mascara when it essentially needs to be tossed out quickly and a shade like this isn’t one I’d use daily which makes it even more wasteful. But I do want it none the less. I think it’ll look fire paired with the eyeliner!

There’s also a Bordeaux Eye Wardrobe Multi-Finish Palette. I want this but I probably can replicate the shades from palettes I already own. It’s a coppery cranberry number that looks beautiful but not a must have for me. It’s something I’ll wait for a sale on!

Speaking of sales I believe HELLO15 is still a working code for 15% off your first order at victoriabeckhambeauty.com!

Victoria Beckham Beauty The Bordeaux Collection is available today. I hope you’re feeling as excited about it and as I do. It’s a little different for Summer but beautiful nonetheless.

Makeup and Beauty Blog Monday Poll, Vol. 875

So…what is the Monday Poll?

Excellent question! It isn’t, contrary to its name, an actual poll, like with little clicky buttons. It’s just a list of more or less random questions I’ve been posting on this blog every Monday morning for the past quadrillion years (since 2007).

1. How many lip products do you typically carry with you: 1-2, 3-5 or 5+?

Lately, I’ve been pretty streamlined, so it’s usually one or two things – lipstick and a gloss!

2. What nail colors have you been into lately?

Pale opaque baby blues. Perhaps I’m having a mid-’90s nostalgia moment, ha! Remember that baby blue nail polish by Hard Candy? I couldn’t get enough of it.

3. Which would you rather do: an afternoon outdoor picnic or late night stargazing?

Afternoon picnic because I’m pretty sure I’d be too sleepy to stargaze late at night, hahaha!

4. Scrambled or sunny side up?

Both! But if it’s scrambled, I’ve got to be the one making the eggs. I’m weirdly picky about my scrambled eggs. If there even the tiniest bit overdone, I won’t have anything to do with them.

5. Something that you think is truly wonderful about spring?

Something I think is truly wonderful about spring is all of the songs of all the different birds I’ve been hearing in the morning. When the songs overlap, it sounds like I’m listening to a nature channel on Spotify. It reminds me that there’s always life around us.
